05-11-24 Cake is a sweet but worried soul who was come to us from a hoarding home, through no fault of his own where he ultimately suffered some neglect along the way asthere were too many dogs to manage. He is a high spirited boy that relies on his kennel friends, and brothers and sisters for support, so he will need a kind resident dog in the home to rely on for assurance. Cake loves to be outdoors and playing with his friends, so he will need an active adopter who is willing to take him on adventures and show him the world which he has not had a chance to see just yet! Although Cake has come from a home, he has not had the chance to learn the basic skills such as home training, and how to walk on a lead so he will need her new family to be understanding while he learns! Cake really is a brave little boy that is attempting to take in his new surroundings the best way he can! He can be a little skiddish, so a home without children would suit him best. Cake is an adorable boy that is looking for someone to take a chance on him!

I met Cake for the first time today and found this little guy to be a very shy character. He is curious though and did come out from his snuggly bed to see what I was up to. Cake takes a lot of comfort from his kennel companions and hides behind them to keep safe. Cake could so easily be overlooked here at the rescue as he really tries to hide himself away, and yet with patience, a very gentle approach and lots of love, I think he will make a lovely little friend. Anyone looking to adopt this boy will need to have at least one friendly dog at home already to keep him company and help grow his confidence and an adult only home would be best as the hustle and bustle of a young family home would overwhelm him. If you feel you have the right home to share with this boy and lots of love to give him, please do consider this little guy.

ADOPTION DETAILS
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
