05-11-24 Cornetto is a such a worried little girl that has come to us from a hoarding home, and has endured some neglect along the way. She is not confident around people yet, and isnt willing to get too close as she runs away when people approach her, and prefers to watch interactions from a distance rather than being involved. We are hoping with some time and basic TLC she will open up and accept people. Due to her past, she is used to having her brothers and sisters very close by, and will need a resident dog in the home to rely on for comfort and support as she settles in. Cornetto did come from a home, but she has not had the chance to learn the basic skills such as house training and how to walk on a lead, she will need her new family to be understanding as she learns! She would suit best in a home without children as she is very flighty is needing a quiet and calm place to rest as she learns all about her new home and people! Cornetto really is such a heartbreaker, but she is being as brave as she can considering her circumstances. She would suit best with adopters who are experienced with timid dogs, and that will allow her the time and grace she needs to build her confidence. 

21-11-24 UPDATE

Little cornetto has settled into foster and after  being very worried for a couple of days, shes now feeling happier and loves to curl up in a comfy basket, she loves food and treats, sleeps well in our kitchen at night and loves to explore the garden! Shes a beginner on the lead, but it shouldn't take her long to get the hang of it! Shes a very sweet little dog who deserves to find a lovely home. Shes not had the best start to her life, but shes a happy little dog that just needs to find her special person, she can be an only dog if someone is around most of the time !!
