05-11-2024 Say hello to City, she has a very sweet face however she is a very shy and nervous girl that has come to us from a home where many dogs were being hoarded and neglected in a small space. City, is very nervous and prefers to watch you rather than join in or come near you. However, she is showing us that she wants to be loved and is just unsure about human kindness.
City has a lovely personality but it's just going to take time for her to show it to us. She would best suit a home where she is an only dog or with dogs who are larger than her. She will need to be taught house manners such as toilet training and how to walk on a lead.
City needs adopters that are able to give her unlimited time and patience to help her settle in and come out of her shell. She already shows us how much she wants to be loved so we know she won't take long to understand human kindness.
City will need am adult only home with no visiting children as she will need somewhere calm and quiet to settle and become the beloved family member she is meant to be.
05-12-2024 UPDATE
City has made some small but big improvements recently. City will greet you at the front of the kennel and allow you to give her some chin tickles. City still relies a lot on her kennel friends so but she could also be homed as an only in the right circumstance. City doesn’t walk on lead so will need a help in hand on learning how to, but it shouldn’t take her long at all! City is honestly such a pretty girl, and really deserves a loving home with all the kindness in the world. City will blossom into the most amazing companion and I really hope she isn’t waiting to much longer for her forever home!
19-01-2025 UPDATE
City is a very stunning girl who has come on leaps and bounds since arriving here, she now walks on a harness very well and thoroughly enjoys her time in the big play yard where she gets to have some zoomies. She can bark at the occasional dog when out walking, but she's very manageable with it and settles. She will need a larger resident dog that she can learn all about home life from and any children in the home will need to be 15+ dog savvy, understanding she will need time to settle. She is a lovely girl who has learnt all she can from kennels and now needs to be in a home continuing her journey.
