29-11-2024 Dairy is a very timid boy who has come to us from a breeder along with his siblings. He's is quite worried about us and will run away when approached as he's not used to hearing kind words spoken or feeling kind hands stroke him and needs an understanding home who will give him the time he needs to settle. As he is young we think he will soon start to trust them and they will see him transform into a wonderful friend. Dairy will need a calm home with at least one kind resident dog to help him to settle into his new life and allow him to cuddle up to them if he wants to. He has never lived in a home before and so this will be quite scary at first as he learns about home life and new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. We would consider homing him with very kind and gentle senior school aged children and although he has not been cat tested would would consider homes with dog-savvy cats. His adopters need to bear in mind the grooming requirements of a dog like Dairy and be aware of the cost of regular trips to a groomer. Dairy has a PETS travel document.
You will be asked to sign a contract confirming you will spay/neuter a puppy and we ask that a puppy attends puppy classes so they can socialise with other dogs and people
ADOPTION DETAILS
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
