18-12-24 Jessie is a gorgeous Jingo Cross girl that has come to us all the way from Korea to start her new chance at life. Jessie was rescued by a Korean dog rescue called Ark, who ultimately saved her from the dog meat trade in Korea. This wonderful rescue was able to find her salvation for about a year in Korea in a lovely foster home and eventually she made her way to us so that she could have a chance at finding her forever home.
A lot of people have been involved in Jessie's journey and everyone has done an amazing job at providing love and assurance to this girl along the way. She is an amazing girl who is full of love and has taken her journey here in her stride. Jessie now deserves the very best.
Jessie does walk on a lead but may need her new family to refresh her memory when it comes to house trainings and other doggy skills. She would like to be an only dog in her new home as although she is very kind to other dogs, she enjoys being the main star!
Jessie is such a sweet lady and despite her hardships, has shown nothing but kindness and courage. She is showing us just how resilient dogs are and we could not be anymore proud to have her in our care while she waits to  find her forever home!

19-01-2025 UPDATE
The gorgeous Jessie has been with us for just over a month now and even though she is still a little timid and reserved, she’s doing very well and it doesn’t take her long to start letting her guard down with you. I’ve only been working with her for the past couple of days but I can already see a difference in her and her confidence. She’s already a lot more content being around me and now comes close to me to ask me for a fuss and to give me little kisses. She really is as sweet as can be and she is definitely stealing my heart! She seems to enjoy the quiet, slow-paced life here at the rescue and I’m sure she would like that to continue in her new home. She loves going out for little strolls where she will walk right by your side, and stop every few seconds to find some good sniffs. For a big girl, she walks like an absolute dream! She also loves the comfort of a warm, cosy bed in her kennel, and lots of yummy treats throughout the day of course.
Even though we originally thought Jessie would need a resident dog in her new home, we’ve found she’s actually happier being kennelled by herself, so we’re now looking to home her as an only dog. She is completely non reactive to other dogs while out on walks etc, but we feel she would enjoy getting to know her new humans and having all of the attention and focus on her. We also think an adult only home would be more suitable for her, with humans who have all the time and the patience in the world to give to her. She is such a special girl and I’m really hoping that a home just as special will pop up for her very soon!
