We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Christabel from Christabel Photography for the many things she does for the rescue. Her support is constant, generous and always appreciated. Most recently, she’s raised an incredible £1,555.98 through her beautiful published book, Many Tails, which features heartwarming stories and stunning portraits of some of our Many Tears dogs who have been adopted. Bev Muir & Margaret

A heartfelt thank you, as always, to Bev Muir and her friend Margaret for their fantastic efforts throughout May 2025, raising a brilliant total of £470.00 through street collections and static tins around the Brecon area. This is yet another amazing result, all thanks to your dedication, hard work, and continued support of Many Tears. Well done, Bev and Margaret - we’re so grateful for everything you do!

Hannah & Laura - Volunteer Vets

A heartfelt thank you to Hannah and Laura, the wonderful vets who generously volunteered their time with us this month. By giving up your free time to spay and neuter some of our rescue dogs, you’ve played a vital role in helping them prepare for their forever homes. Your kindness, skill, and dedication mean so much to us and to the dogs whose lives you’ve helped change. Thank you both for your incredible support!

Rhoswen

We would like to say a very special thank you to an equally special little girl called Rhoswen. On the 18th of May, 9 year old Rhoswen set herself an incredible challenge: to cycle 18 miles and raise £350 for Many Tears Animal Rescue. Not only did she complete the full 18 miles - which took her 6 hours in the heat of the day - but she absolutely smashed her fundraising target and raised an amazing £1,000!

Rhoswen, your determination, kindness, and compassion have truly inspired us all. We think you are absolutely amazing! Congratulations and well done, Rhoswen! Thank you for your hard work and your wonderful support. You are a true star, and we are so grateful for everything you've done to help the animals in our care.

Sales for Many Tears Auction Page

A massive thank you to Viv & Sash, who do an incredible job running the Sales for Many Tears Facebook auction page. Thanks to their dedication and the amazing support from the community, the May auction raised an impressive £1,547.40!

We’re so grateful to everyone involved - whether you donated items, placed a bid, or simply shared the page, your kindness and generosity mean the world to us. Viv & Sash, your passion, organisation, and tireless commitment make a real difference to the lives of the dogs in our care. Thank you so much for everything you do!

Vita Canis - Style to the Rescue

A huge thank you to Jitka and the team at Vita Canis for organising Style to Rescue 2025 and for the generous donation of £635 to Many Tears Animal Rescue. We know everyone had a fantastic time, and the dogs looked absolutely amazing after their grooms! Thank you to everyone involved in this wonderful event – we’re so grateful for your support!

Lesley Johnston

A huge thank you to Lesley Johnston, who walked an incredible 120km along the Camino de Santiago in Spain and chose to support Many Tears as her charity of the year. We’re so proud of her amazing effort and deeply grateful for the £605 she raised to help our dogs. Thank you, Lesley!

Jollyes Llanelli

Another huge thank you to Jollyes Llanelli for their incredibly generous donations! We were so touched by the wonderful collection of items sent our way, from delicious treats to exciting toys and so much more. A big thank you to all the kind-hearted Jollyes customers who contributed to the donation bin, your support truly makes a difference for the animals here at Many Tears. We appreciate your kindness more than words can say!

Paula Williams, Chris James, Katy Lewis & Janice James Rees

Thank you to Paula Williams and Chris James for raising an incredible £269.35 for Many Tears by attending a car boot sale. We are so grateful for your help and support! A huge thank you also to Katy Lewis for all of her donations and to Janice James Rees for her continued support of the rescue. 

Rhian Lismore

A huge well done and thank you to Rhian Lismore for completing the Plymouth Half Marathon on 11th May 2025!

Rhian finished with an impressive time of 1:51:53, running in memory of her beloved Bulldog, Lucy, and in support of all the dogs at Many Tears Animal Rescue. Not only did she take on the challenge with heart, but she also surpassed her fundraising goal, raising £170, exceeding her original target of £150.

We’re so proud of your achievement, Rhian. Thank you for your dedication and support, it means the world to us. Congratulations!

Jairo Bravo 

We want to give a massive shoutout to Jairo, who completed a marathon to raise funds for Many Tears - an incredible achievement in every way! He raised an amazing £800.00 and crossed the finish line in 4 hours and 26 minutes both huge accomplishments!

Thank you, Jairo, for your dedication, effort, and for thinking of the dogs every step of the way. We’re so grateful, well done and thank you! 

And as for that dog adoption you previously mentioned, we have a feeling your wife will come around soon enough! We’re sure your dog would love the company (and we’re here to help with the convincing)!
