Rosie (MT Karen) - Happy Ending

We adopted Rosie (previously Karen) back in 2022 after reading her story on the Many Tears Rescue website. Rosie had a very tough life before being rescued; her story just broke our hearts. When she came to us, she was incredibly timid. She was frightened of almost everything and would take herself away to hide. She didn’t know how to eat her dinner properly, how to go for a walk, and she most definitely didn’t know how to play.

However, fast forward nearly 3 years, Rosie well and truly rules the roost! She has built a lovely bond with our 5 year old Cockapoo, Molly, and she has completed our family. It’s been an absolute privilege to gain Rosie’s trust and to watch her find her feet and grow into the most charismatic little dog. 

We are so proud of her and how much she has overcome. At the beginning, we thought we would never see Rosie’s tail wag as it was constantly dropped between her legs. These days, her tail does not stop wagging!!

Rosie’s favourite thing to do is cuddle up on the couch - she absolutely adores affection and physical contact from her humans. When she’s not giving cuddles, Rosie loves to run wild in the park and roll around in the grass! 

Thank you to MTAR for saving our little Roo; she’s just the best and we wouldn’t be without her for the world.
