11-06-2024 Finn arrived with us in July. He was returned due to the household being to busy for him. Finn is an exceptional young man who has so much love to give, the most loyal man I've ever met. He is super super smart, and eager to learn anything you'd want to teach him.
Finn needs smart, experienced, commited people who will not push his boundaries and won't let him down. At the moment Finn is not a fan of strangers, or anyone getting too close who he doesn't know, but with effort, consistency, and a mutual trust being built, he does learn to trust. Who can blame him for needing some extra TLC? For this reason Finn is fully, positively muzzle trained and must be muzzled whenever he's out and about, or in the vicinity of strangers.
Finn can be the only dog in the home or live with a resident dog that is happy to share their home and humans with a calm personality that won't be in Finn's face.
Finn would love a home where he has a big garden to play ball all day long. An adult only home with no visiting children, and smart guardians who would never put him in harms way.
Finn will need any potential adopters to come and meet him 3-4 days in a row before taking him home. He needs to fully trust you before his world gets turned upside down again where you are the only thing he can trust and rely on. Finn cannot live with cats.

Finn really is a special boy that unfortunately can have a tough time trusting some humans. He really needs to get to know you before showing you his true handsome personality, as he can be quite nervous and have his guard up if he doesn’t know you. He can be unfazed when walking on a lead, providing he’s with someone he knows. For me, I am honoured to be one of the people Finn is comfortable to be around. I have watched him come on leaps and bounds even since I’ve started working with him - and he’s been here longer than I have.
He is an amazing boy who has proved to me that he is ready to be in his forever home. We don’t know what this handsome boy has been through to make him the way he is sometimes, but I am positive there is someone out there who has the patience and experience to work with him. With the right person or family, deep down i just know for that special person or family he can’t wait to show how well behaved, smart and loving he really is.
Finn is currently kennelled with a pomsky and he absolutely adores her. I think Finn would make the perfect only dog but could potentially go with other dogs depending on the meet and greet of course. Please give him a chance! As much as I love him and spending time with him every day, it breaks me to still see him here.
