VISITING THE RESCUE
Many Tears is open 7 days a week to the public for show arounds.
These happen once a day on weekdays and twice a day at weekends.
Mon-Fri the show arounds star promptly at 12pm
Sat-Sun show arounds start promptly at 11am and 1pm.

THERE IS NO NEED TO BOOK AND PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE
THE START TIME AS YOU CANNOT JOIN A SHOW AROUND ONCE THEY HAVE STARTED
.
We do ask for a donation of £3 for anyone over the age of 14.
The address of the rescue is Many Tears Animal Rescue,
Cwmlogin House, Cefneithin, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, SA14 7HB.
If you follow the signs to the reception gate on your arrival a member of staff
will meet you and go through procedures prior to viewing any of the dogs.
All visitors must wear a mask unless exempt from doing so.

DONATIONS OF FOOD AND BEDDING

Donations of any dog food and towels are always very gratefully received
but for bedding we can only accept:

Lightweight/fleece blankets that are quick to dry

Duvets (NOT feather)
if you can cut single duvets into 2 or 4 pieces or double/king size cut into 4 or 6 pieces
and sew themto stop the filling coming out that would be brilliant
and enables this kind of bedding to be spread across more kennels

PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT ACCEPT PILLOWS, CUSHIONS OR
ANY OTHER BEDDING OTHER THAN THAT MENTIONED ABOVE.

Donations on the benches outside the entrance any time between 8:30-4:00 and ring the
bell to tell us they are there. If you need help to unload items please call us on
01269 843084 so we can help you.

VOLUNTEERING AT THE RESCUE

If you would like to volunteer at Many Tears please email mtvolunteering@gmail.com and
give the dates and times you would like to come. Please state clearly if you would like to
volunteer with dogs and/or horses and give details of what experience you have.

We would want a volunteer to be here for a minimum of 3 hours)
Please check your junk mail as sometimes replies go in there,

Volunteer who come to help with the dogs can be asked to do anything from cleaning
kennels, walking dogs or simply sitting and socialising the scared dogs and puppies.
It will depend on what needs to be done on the day you volunteer.

Please wear appropriate clothing and no open toe shoes even in the summer.
Bring a waterproof coat and refreshments.
