Most dogs prefer walking on a harness rather than a collar and as so many of our dogs have never walked on leads and with so many variations of harnesses we hope the below will help you make the right choice for your dog. For those with very scared dogs there is a useful guide about how to double lead them until they are confident to walk on a single lead.
